Meeting the author and her husband at a seminar they presented in San Diego gave me an even better insight to the dedication and detail they have put into this publication. The Third Edition is now in print, however this copy came to me with an addendum insert that covers most of those updates. The specifics of travel, hints and suggestions for safe passage and anchoring as well as the unique information about marinas, port captains, radio contacts and areas of concern all capture the essence of safe and enjoyable cruising for the novice through the seasoned cruiser.

this is such a great book that it has been stolen from us twice!

Lots of useful information, use in conjunction with Breeding & Bansmer's books.
