William Smith, MS, CSCS, MEPD, has been working in healthcare and wellness, including medically-based exercise therapy for elderly, pre- and post-rehabilitative, and special needs clients for many years. Will is a recognized national expert in health and wellness and has lectured at recognized centers of wellness including Canyon Ranch. Will currently teaches at UMDNJ Physical Therapy at Rutgers University and works for a top-rated healthcare system in New Jersey.Dean Padavan, M.D. is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Internal Medicine. He currently practices Sports Medicine for the Atlantic Health System in New Jersey and has offices in Morristown and Sparta. He is the associate team Internist for the New York Jets, and the team physician for College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and Pope John High School in Sparta, NJ. He is the associate program director for the Atlantic Sports Health Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship and is extensively involved with the academic research program.

Very few pages on balance.
If you are truly a beginner to the 'exercise world' or if you want something to do that isn't really challenging, then perhaps you will be okay with this book.
I purchased this book about a month ago! It has great exercises to improve your balance! It's useful for the young and old. I am 60 years old and feel anything I can do to prevent a fall and subsequently a fracture is worthwhile! Another great exercise book by William Smith!
This book is wonderful ! I have had knee and hip replacements and my balance wasn't the best after the surgery's so I got this book and practiced almost every day. Please don't do it when your alone !!! Have someone there with you since you might need some help.
